Rucking for Roofs is an event where the East Providence Elks Veterans Committee raises money for homeless veterans.

The journey starts from Bristol Elks Lodge and ends at the East Providence Elks Lodge, walking a total of 21 miles. The funds raised are used for furniture, rental assistance, Habitat for Humanity mortgage closing costs, and extended-stay hotels for veterans awaiting permanent housing.
